APPLICATION AREA
The Si railroad switch indicator is designed for application in underground railway transportation systems to improve safety of personnel with correct and safe handling of railway traffic. The switch indicator is meant to warn about changes in traffic situations and inform train operators and other employees involved in railway traffic about current status of traffic control equipment (a railroad switch).
APPLICATION CONDITIONS
Si railroad switch indicators are suitable for working areas of underground operations without the hazard of methane explosion and the ones with the ‘a’ degree of methane explosion hazard as well as with the ‘A’ class of coal dust explosion hazard at ambient temperatures from 0ºC to 40ºC, relative humidity up to 95% and the ‘C’ degree of corrosion aggressiveness to PN-71/H-04651).

Si railroad switch indicators are manufactured in line with rules of good engineering practice in the field of occupational safety as well as current state-of-art in technical expertise with consideration to applicable technical standards and the 2014/35/UE Low-Voltage Directive.
