APPLICATION AREA

The ŁSN-500 interface unit is designed to energize and de-energize sections of electric traction wires and, additionally, to directly connect de-energized sections of overhead wires to floor traction rails (so called rail bonding).
In particular, the unit is suitable for energizing and de-energizing:

•  sections of electric tractions at depots and repair workshops;
•  area-specific fragments of electric networks at loading stations, parking areas, warehouses of materials, passenger stations as well as sections of trolley wire at locations where any works are in progress in direct
  or indirect vicinity of traction wires

APPLICATION CONDITIONS

ŁSN-500 normal design interface units for traction wire sections are suitable for working areas of underground operations without the hazard of methane explosion and the ones with the ‘a’ degree of methane explosion hazard as well as with the ‘A’ class of coal dust explosion hazard.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS

The ŁSN-500 interface unit is made up of the following components:

•  metallic enclosure with the IP54 index of protection and provided with cable bushings of WK1 to WK4 types at its bottom side,
•  epoxy glass mounting plate with electric insulating properties to place all mechanical and electric components of the unit

ŁSN-500 normal design interface units for traction wire sections are manufactured in line with rules of good engineering practice in the field of occupational safety as well as current state-of-art in technical expertise with consideration to applicable technical standards and the 2014/35/UE Low-Voltage Directive.
