APPLICATION AREA

•  The kit for repairs and connection of one core electric cables coated with soft PVC or PE insulation and designed for railway applications to supply electric traction lines
•  Enables connection of cables with different cross-section of working cores ranging up to 1000 mm2
•  Maximum geometrical cross-section of return lines made of copper wires is 50 mm2
•  Suitable for direct burying into ground

TECHNICAL PARAMETERS

•  Working cores can be connected together by means of terminals with secure lock bolts
•  Cable insulation is restored with self-bonding adhesive tape for high voltages
•  Non-metallic cable shields are restored with semi-conductive self-bonding adhesive tape
•  Wires of return lines are restored with PLC woven copper tape
•  Outer encapsulation is made of:
  - flame-retardant soft PVC and flame-retardant rubber with filling of the joint box body with two-component polyurethane compound (SAKOP M-6/1K... kits)
  - epoxy resin injected into tape-wrapped joint box (SAKOP M-6/1KTZ... kits)
•  Each kit comprises all components and instruction manuals for making the joint
•  The joint box can be connected to live voltage right after installation
